For $171.50 per month, Enhance can handle 1000 websites or accounts hosted on any number of servers. In contrast, cPanel costs $308.00 per month for the same number of sites or accounts on three Premier Metal VPS servers. Each server in cPanel has 100 cPanel accounts, and there are 700 additional cPanel accounts available for $140.00 per month. CloudLinux/CageFS is not necessary for Enhance because it already has built-in account separation.

However, Imunify360 and MailChannels plugins are available in cPanel but not in Enhance. MailChannels helps prevent problems with blacklisted IP addresses to ensure successful mail delivery. Additionally, cPanel offers a Direct Store license and partner pricing for web hosts that resell cPanel. Enhance, on the other hand, offers lower prices for web hosts who want to host more than 1-5 000 websites.

Enhance's backup software is less expensive and more reliable compared to cPanel's outdated backup system. In terms of Imunify360 and MailChannels, Enhance does not have a response yet.

It could be beneficial for Enhance to offer a more uniform pricing structure to keep the competition fair. Ultimately, the choice between Enhance and cPanel depends on the web host's needs and priorities.

Would Enhance need to integrate Imunify and Mailchannels into your product? I believe Imunify can be installed as a standalone package, so why involve Enhance? In my opinion, certain tasks fall under the responsibility of the server administrator. Not everything needs to be a clickable button on the panel.

That being said, if Enhance were a well-designed product they may consider implementing special features like this. However, I'm unsure if there are any other ways they could improve. It would be even more impressive if the control panel included tools for server administrators to do small tasks themselves. With this, admins could create their own add-ons according to their specific needs.

The use of a panel is beneficial on shared servers as it allows clients to create content without needing support. Typically, WHM is integrated with billing and given commands to "create a client/reseller," as well as assign new quotas. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any on-hand commands for this.

While you can suspend/unsuspend accounts via command line (although the interface may be simpler to use), transferring to another server in the pool is mostly done through WHM. This feature allows admins to bundle users together and monitor progress.

Luckily, the security of panels such as cPanel and Plesk are usually solid. However, as an admin, I have had to deal with a multitude of abuses, hacks, spammers, and other issues on the user level.

Let's discuss the pricing and capacity offered by both panels. Enhance offers the ability to handle 1000 websites or accounts for $171.50 per month, whereas cPanel costs $308.00 per month for the same number of sites but adds the capability to host them on three Premier Metal VPS servers. Each server in cPanel has 100 cPanel accounts, with an option to add 700 additional accounts for $140.00 per month. It's important to note that Enhance can handle 1000 websites or accounts on any number of servers, offering flexibility in terms of infrastructure.

Moving on to the features, it's evident that cPanel comes with Imunify360 and MailChannels plugins which are not available in Enhance. Imunify360 provides advanced security features and proactive defense for websites, while MailChannels plays a crucial role in preventing email delivery issues caused by blacklisted IP addresses. These features are essential for maintaining a secure and reliable hosting environment, especially for businesses that prioritize email deliverability and website security.

Another key consideration is the backup solutions offered by both control panels. Enhance claims to have a less expensive and more reliable backup software compared to cPanel's outdated backup system. This is an important factor to consider, as data backup and recovery are critical aspects of any hosting service, and having a robust backup solution in place is indispensable.

In terms of pricing structure and competitiveness, it's worth noting that Enhance could benefit from offering a more uniform pricing structure to ensure fairness and transparency for their customers. This would provide clarity and consistency for web hosts looking to scale their operations across a larger number of websites.

Ultimately, the choice between Enhance and cPanel depends on the specific needs and priorities of the web hosting business. For those who value built-in account separation, flexibility in server infrastructure, and lower pricing for hosting a larger number of websites, Enhance could be a compelling option. On the other hand, if advanced security features, email deliverability, and support for web hosts reselling cPanel licenses are top priorities, then cPanel may be the preferable choice.
It's essential to evaluate the unique requirements of your web hosting business and carefully weigh the features, pricing, and scalability offered by both control panels to make an informed decision that aligns with your business goals and customer needs.
