There is a new SAAS alternative to WHMCS available called UpMind, which allows users to avoid hosting on their own like WHMCS. Have you ever wondered who is behind this new platform? Does it have any relation to Enhance.com, the developers of a new web hosting control panel?

After that, let's take a closer look at Vidahost/TSOhost. Who was responsible for operating these companies before they were eventually sold to GoDaddy?

There are three distinct companies involved in this discussion. The first company's optimization was carried out by Adam and his team. Seb and his team are responsible for managing Upmind, while I am working with Stablepoint with Seb and Darren leading the effort.

To clarify, I have no affiliation with Improve/Improve except as a user of their product, so any further inquiries should be directed to their website. On a separate note, have you noticed that some of the moderators in this forum can be somewhat unyielding? Do you have any insight into why that might be the case?

ISPConfig has been a popular option among free cPanel alternatives for quite some time, boasting an impressive 40,000 monthly downloads. Similar to Webmin or Ajenti, ISPConfig allows users to set up an ApacheXNUMX / Nginx web server, a mail server, DNS, mirroring, and more.

One unique aspect of ISPConfig is the capability to manage numerous servers from just one control panel. This feature is particularly useful for users running multiple servers who want them all to function similarly without having to install the same control panel. ISPConfig is compatible with Debian, Ubuntu, and CentOS, and its source code is open source under the BSD license in the GitLab repository.

Out of all the open source Linux hosting control panels on this list, ISPConfig 3 is the most versatile. It provides four user levels: Administrator, Control Panel User, Reseller, and Client. Administrators can configure the server and manage all users, while control panel users can only access what is authorized by the administrator, such as file manager or mail administration. Resellers can resell a certain amount of resources allocated to them by the administrator and later establish their own packages to sell.

Clients, on the other hand, can use any resources allowed by the administrator and are wholly customizable. Like any software, these rules have both positive and negative aspects, depending on what you're looking for.

Actually, ispmanager has Lite, Host, Pro, and Business editions for different use cases.
At their pricing, it's a real alternative to the ever-expensive Plesk and cPanel.

Let's cut through the hype around UpMind, this so-called WHMCS killer. Sure, it's a SaaS shortcut for those too lazy to self-host, but who's really behind this shiny toy?
I've been flipping domains long enough to smell a rebrand or shady pivot, and UpMind's origins are murky as hell. No solid tie to Enhance.com, the control panel hotshots, but are we sure there's no backdoor deal?

C'mon, hosting peeps, spill the beans! And don't get me started on Vidahost/TSOhost - Paragon Internet Group ran that show before GoDaddy played the big-boss card, swallowing them whole. It's the same old consolidation BS in the hosting game. UpMind better not be another flash-in-the-pan gimmick, or it'll flop harder than a bad domain drop.
