I suggest compiling a list of hosting providers/data centers that you believe are unwise to use on this platform. It is vital to provide supporting evidence for such claims. This topic is of great relevance, and I'll lead by example with my own suggestions:
- GoDaddy
- Besthosting.com.ua
- Globat.com

I had an unpleasant experience with Beget, where I worked for two months. The lack of protection from dDos caused frequent attacks on the sites, resulting in constant downtime. As a result, I decided my sites were not compatible with this host and left.
They were uncooperative when I asked for a refund, so I had to transfer the balance to another party in exchange for cash.

It appears that Beget prioritizes their interface over security, potentially appealing to inexperienced users, but not suitable for professional projects. This mismatch of website quality and hosting service quality can be attributed to their target audience.

I have a personal project that can accommodate up to ten users, hosted on a VPS hosting service (Hetzner.de, to be exact). I found this service by searching "VPS hosting" on Google. While some may think that reading about hosting has helped me understand the topic better, I knew beforehand that I had very little knowledge of it.

Although my project was hosted on OVH, I experienced issues where access to the server was lost for 5-6 hours, without any notifications or warnings. When trying to access the control panel, there were times when the server was not visible, despite the fact that the payment had been made.

The technical support team was unresponsive, and when they eventually replied, they didn't seem to understand the issue, and took a long time to restore access.

In my experience, some hosting services are better avoided due to various issues such as customer support, server reliability, or performance. Here's a list of provider that I'd suggest approaching with caution:

- GoDaddy: This company is notorious for its aggressive upselling tactics. Many users report feeling pressured to purchase additional services that they might not need. Furthermore, their customer support, though available, often doesn't meet expectation, leading to frustration when urgent issues arise. The pages may loading slowly due to overcrowded servers during peak times.

- Besthosting.com.ua: From what I've read and heard from other designers in forums, this provider has inconsistent uptime. Clients have experience extended downtime without proper communication. This is especially damaging for business websites, where any amount of downtime can result in lost revenue and degraded performance.

- Globat.com: Although they may offer overview pricing, their services are not always value for money. There are numerous reports online from past customers who faced issues with unexpected fees and subpar service quality. Many experienced slow loading times or problems with transferring domains to other hosts, which can be a pain for web designers managing multiple projects.

These hosting providers often have hidden costs, unreliable service, or inadequate support, which can hinder projects and create a lot of inconvenience. Its best to do thorough research before committing to any provider to ensure that you won't regret your decision in the future.

When discussing a blacklist of web hosting providers or data centers, it's important to be cautious and base your judgment on concrete experiences, such as poor performance, unreliable uptime, security vulnerabilities, or inadequate customer service.
