Title: Freelance sites for the customer
Post by: youngceaser on Mar 02, 2023, 04:15 AM
The project was posted on Freelancer platform without mentioning the price (as per agreement).

The main idea is described succinctly and clearly. The provided bootstrap source code needs to be supplemented with custom code that retrieves data from another partner website.

There have been numerous responses. When you indicate the price and timeframe, there are no responses at all. Alternatively, some individuals ask what needs to be done (despite having a good portfolio). The task description is included, so I don't expect you to comprehend it fully. However, even if you did, I would compensate for your efforts accordingly. All of this is explicitly stated in the text.

Some individuals instantly propose creating landing pages and providing promotional services. It feels as though bots exist solely to disrupt projects worth $10K.

Can you please recommend a platform where reliable professionals can successfully complete projects?

Certainly, the price is important, but more importantly, the exchange's quality and the quality of responses. I am considering international platforms. What is your genuine experience? Thank you.

90% of individuals completely disregard the task description.
Their main goal is to quickly secure the project, solely to make ends meet...

Include a "trap" within the description. Place it towards the end.
"Anyone who has read this far, feel free to contact me. Begin your message not with a typical greeting, but with the secret passphrase - Grandfather Mazai fried a hare."

From then on, you can confidently disregard messages or requests from potential candidates that lack the specified passphrase at the beginning.

Is there anyone with experience in international markets? I've come across Odesk, also known as Upwork.
It seems like the perfect platform to place an order on reputable resources and save time on performer searching.

In my opinion, utilizing platforms that specialize in connecting clients with talented professionals from around the world can greatly benefit your project. These platforms often provide filters and tools to help you find the right candidate for your specific needs, ensuring high-quality results and efficient workflow. Additionally, they offer a wide range of services and expertise, allowing you to explore various options and choose the best fit for your requirements.

Visit platforms like kwork and upwork, where you can reach out to mid-level specialists and inquire about their pricing for the specific task at hand. Once you have gathered this information, you can either update the budget on upwork or directly communicate the agreed-upon price to the selected specialists.

The issue lies not with the platforms, but with the way you're approaching the project. If you're looking for high-quality work at a low price, you're bound to attract unqualified individuals or bots. Be prepared to pay a premium for top-notch work, and don't be surprised if you still encounter some noise along the way. The digital landscape is a reflection of our society, and if you want to find reliable professionals, you need to be willing to put in the effort to find them.
