No, Intel Evo and 12th gen Intel processors are not the same.

The 12th gen Intel processors, also known as Alder Lake, were released in late 2021. They have new architecture, improved performance, and better energy efficiency.

Intel Evo, on the other hand, is a set of specifications developed by Intel to define a specific set of laptops that meet certain standards for performance, battery life, connectivity, and other features. Laptops meeting these specs are marketed as "Intel Evo" laptops and often include 11th or 12th gen Intel processors, along with other components that meet the requirements.

So while some Intel Evo laptops may have 12th gen Intel processors, not all 12th gen Intel processors are part of the Intel Evo platform.
