Hi there, due to recent issues, I'm looking to move my domains from my current registrar to a more secure location to avoid any future blocking due to complaints.

Can you recommend a trustworthy registrar? Thanks in advance for your help.

When it comes to transferring your domains to a more secure location, there are several factors to consider in order to make an informed decision.

Security is paramount when choosing a new domain registrar. Look for registrars that offer advanced security features such as two-factor authentication, domain locking, and DNSSEC (Domain Name System Security Extensions) to prevent unauthorized changes to your domain settings and protect against cyber threats. Additionally, robust anti-phishing and anti-malware measures can further safeguard your domains from potential threats.

It's also important to consider the registrar's track record in handling domain transfers and providing protection against potential blocking due to complaints. Check if the registrar has a history of promptly resolving issues related to domain complaints and ensuring that domains remain in compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.

Furthermore, consider the registrar's customer support and the ease of the domain management interface. A registrar with responsive customer support and a user-friendly platform will make it easier for you to address any concerns and manage your domains efficiently. Look for registrars that offer comprehensive domain management tools, easy domain transfer processes, and clear dоcumentation for handling various domain-related tasks.

Another key aspect to evaluate is the registrar's reputation within the domain industry. Research the registrar's accreditation, compliance with industry standards, and overall standing in the domain community. Choose a registrar that is accredited by ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) and has a solid reputation for domain registration and management.

Based on these considerations, I recommend exploring domain registrars such as Namecheap, GoDaddy, Google Domains, or Cloudflare Registrar. These registrars are known for their strong security measures, reliable customer support, user-friendly interfaces, and positive industry reputation. Conducting thorough research and possibly reaching out to industry colleagues for recommendations can also provide valuable insights into the best registrar for your specific needs and concerns.

A few years back, a popular domain registrar suspended a domain due to perceived similarities between its content and that of the previous owner 6 years prior, as archived on the web. It took them 5 days to review the changes made to the content after receiving a message on the final day.

However, it seems that the registrar either did not acknowledge the adjustments or did not have sufficient time to do so before locking the domain (it happened over the weekend). If the registrar had any valid reason for the suspension, it raises concerns about how registrars may act based on personal beliefs alone.

If the domain is listed in the blacklist not only by a spamhouse, but also by a regular left-leaning German internet security organization, then the majority of registrars will refuse to take on the responsibility of maintaining the domain name, even if the transfer process has already been initiated.
