Hey there,
I wanted to let you know that GoDaddy has currently restricted access to their domain appraisal API for external/public use. It's unclear whether this is a temporary or permanent block. As a result, tools such as namelooka bulk appraisal, hackerpain bulk appraisal, BDAC appraisal, and any others relying on GoDaddy's API are currently not operational. If there's a solution, I'll keep you informed.

By the way, GoDaddy's official domain appraisal service is still functioning without any issues.

Do you have any ideas on how we can find an alternative solution to this issue?

The restriction on GoDaddy's domain appraisal API has certainly impacted the functionality of several appraisal tools, making it challenging for domain investors and businesses to assess the value of their domain portfolios.
In light of this situation, one approach would be to explore alternative domain appraisal services that offer reliable and comprehensive data. This may involve leveraging APIs from other domain registrars or appraisal platforms. For example, exploring domain appraisal APIs from providers such as Namecheap, Sedo, or Estibot could potentially offer viable alternatives. Engaging with these providers to understand their API capabilities and integration options would be a crucial step in finding a suitable replacement for the GoDaddy API.

Another solution could be to consider developing an in-house domain appraisal system tailored to specific needs. This approach would involve collaborating with domain valuation experts, data analysts, and software developers to create a custom appraisal tool that aligns with the unique requirements of the business or investment strategy.

Furthermore, given the dynamic nature of the domain industry, diversifying the reliance on a single domain appraisal API is advisable. Exploring multiple sources of appraisal data and integrating them into a unified dashboard or toolset could provide a robust solution. This could involve aggregating data from different reputable domain appraisal services to create a comprehensive and reliable appraisal platform.

It's essential to keep abreast of developments in the domain appraisal landscape, including any updates on the status of GoDaddy's API access. Engaging with industry forums, attending domain-related events, and networking with professionals in the field can provide valuable insights into emerging appraisal tools and strategies.
