Hey everyone,

I'm currently attempting to set up the Team Speak Server, but I'm encountering issues with the installation of the 64-bit version on our server. I'm puzzled as to what might be going wrong.

Here's what I've been doing:
1. Downloading the 64-bit version onto our 64-bit SBS Server
2. Extracting the files
3. Double-clicking on the Team Speak server icon

However, instead of an installation wizard, an MS-DOS screen appears with login details and no further instructions.

I even tried placing the license key in the root folder, but it didn't resolve the issue.

Can anyone offer assistance? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

When dealing with server installations, it's essential to ensure that you are following the correct procedures to avoid any hiccups. Firstly, verify that you have downloaded the correct 64-bit version of Team Speak for your SBS Server. Double-checking the compatibility of the software with your server's operating system is crucial for a successful installation.
The appearance of an MS-DOS screen with login details indicates that the server is launching in console mode instead of the expected installation wizard. This could be due to a variety of reasons, such as incorrect execution of the server application or missing dependencies.

To troubleshoot this issue, I recommend checking the server's documentation for specific installation instructions. Pay close attention to any prerequisites or special configurations needed for running the server on a 64-bit SBS environment. Additionally, ensure that any required software components or libraries are installed on the server to support the Team Speak application.

Placing the license key in the root folder is a standard procedure, but if it didn't resolve the problem, there may be underlying issues with the server environment that need to be addressed.

In order to offer more targeted assistance, it would be helpful to know the exact version of Team Speak you are attempting to install and the specifications of your SBS Server, including the operating system version and any relevant system details. With this information, I can provide tailored guidance to help you navigate through the installation process and overcome the encountered obstacles.
Rest assured, with the right approach and attention to detail, you'll be able to successfully set up the Team Speak server on your 64-bit SBS Server. Don't hesitate to reach out with additional details, and I'll be more than happy to assist you further.
