Hello everyone,
I'm looking for a voice E1 line that I can connect to my server using an Asterisk card.
My goal is to offer SIP termination services. Can anyone recommend where I can find one?

While I may not be an expert in European telephony, I can suggest some options for starting in the states such as Verizon, L3, AT&T, and CLECs like Windstream.
but, the main question is why you believe you need a T1/E1. Instead, it would be more beneficial to use a SIP term/orig service like Vitelity or Callcentric.

Although these providers are not available in Europe, they would still be a good option for the states. It's important to determine if you have a specific application that requires the hardware, otherwise it could result in a waste of money.
Cheers.

Hello! When it comes to voice E1 lines and Asterisk cards, you have a few options. You can try checking with your local telecommunications provider to see if they offer E1 lines for SIP termination. Additionally, you can look for online vendors that specialize in telecommunication hardware, such as Sangoma or Digium. These vendors often provide Asterisk-compatible cards that support E1 lines.
It's important to ensure compatibility with your server and the Asterisk software, so do some research to find the best fit for your needs.

An E1 line is a digital telecommunications line that carries multiple voice and data channels. It is commonly used for business communications, as it provides high capacity and reliability.

To connect an E1 line to your server using an Asterisk card, you will typically need an E1 interface card compatible with Asterisk. This card acts as an interface between the E1 line and your server. Popular brands for Asterisk-compatible cards include Sangoma, Digium, and OpenVox.

The E1 interface card usually connects to the server via the PCI or PCIe slot. Once installed, you can configure the card in the Asterisk software to handle the E1 line's voice and data channels. This configuration allows you to offer services like SIP termination, where you terminate incoming calls from the PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network) to IP-based networks or SIP trunks.

It is important to note that setting up and configuring an E1 line connection with an Asterisk card may require some technical expertise. It's recommended to consult with experts or seek professional assistance if you are not familiar with the process to ensure a successful setup.
