Good day!

Need VPS/VDS 6-8 CPU / 10-16 RAM / 300Gb SSD NVMe / LAN 500Mb+, with DDOS protection L7 (protection is needed for two or three days once every few months, so it would be great if it could be somehow turned on/off to save money).

The server is needed in Belgium.

Thanks in advance!

That's a serious amount of firepower for a web server. You'll also need a LAN speed of at least 500 Mbps to ensure smooth data transfer. Now, about that DDOS protection – you want something that can be turned on/off as needed, which is a smart move considering you only need it for a few days every few months. This way, you can save some cash when you're not actively using it.

Now, let's get to the good stuff. I've got my eye on a few providers that can deliver what you're looking for. One of them is OVH, a French company with a strong presence in Belgium. They offer a range of VPS plans, including ones with 6-8 CPU cores, 10-16 GB of RAM, and 300 GB of SSD storage. Their DDOS protection is top-notch, and you can activate/deactivate it as needed. Plus, their prices are competitive, starting at around €20 per month.

Another option is Hetzner, a German company with a data center in Belgium. They offer a range of VPS plans, including ones with 6-8 CPU cores, 10-16 GB of RAM, and 300 GB of SSD storage. Their DDOS protection is also impressive, and you can customize it to fit your needs. Prices start at around €15 per month.

Last but not least, there's Contabo, a German company with a strong focus on VPS and cloud services. They offer a range of VPS plans, including ones with 6-8 CPU cores, 10-16 GB of RAM, and 300 GB of SSD storage. Their DDOS protection is robust, and you can activate/deactivate it as needed. Prices start at around €10 per month.

So, which one to choose? Well, that depends on your specific needs and budget. If you're looking for a more customizable solution with top-notch DDOS protection, OVH might be the way to go. If you're on a tighter budget and still want a reliable VPS with good DDOS protection, Hetzner or Contabo might be a better fit.

Cloudflare's got you covered, but how do you plan to safeguard your server from potential threats? Throwing more processing power at the problem isn't the most cost-effective approach, and installing custom software might not be the most scalable solution either.

What you really need is a robust security strategy that can handle the heavy lifting. That's where a dedicated security expert comes in - someone who can monitor your server's performance and identify potential issues before they become major headaches. And let's be real, no one wants to deal with a security breach, only to be told that they're a "problem client" because they didn't invest in the right infrastructure.

In Europe, for example, 1000 Mbit channels are the norm, and many organizations are already taking advantage of high-speed internet to boost their online presence.

Attempting to compare our services to Hetzner is like trying to scale a digital fortress with a rusty screwdriver. Their 10 GIG plan will set you back a whopping €3,000, whereas we offer a more agile approach. If you're looking to disseminate content on a massive scale, why not opt for our 'erver sprawl' package, which includes 100 virtual servers for a mere €30?

Highly recommend GTHost.com vps hosting. There are a lot of helpful tools included that I am using for my business.
Easy to get in touch with someone via Yahoo if I have a question. Good value.
