Choosing a VPS for a self-hosted Git service

I'm considering setting up a self-hosted Git service for a small development team. We need private repositories, SSH access, issue tracking, and occasional CI jobs.

A VPS with 4 vCPU, 8 GB RAM, and 100 GB NVMe seems like a reasonable starting point. I'd prefer to keep the cost around $25–30 per month.

HostPro.com came up during my search for VPS providers. Has anyone hosted Gitea or GitLab on a similar configuration? I'm particularly interested in whether 8 GB RAM is enough if we occasionally run CI tasks on the same server.

Some hosting providers have maintained a good reputation for years by offering stable uptime and responsive customer support.
It's worth checking companies with a proven track record.
