I want to migrate a small blog from shared hosting to a VPS. Traffic is still low—about 20,000–30,000 page views per month.

I'm thinking of going with 2 CPU cores / 4 GB RAM / 100 GB NVMe. That should be more than enough for WordPress, and if the site grows, I can always upgrade the resources.

I'm currently looking at a few providers, including hostpro.com. Does it even make sense to switch to a VPS for a site like this?

VPS accounts from justvps.pro and 4goodhosting.com are worth every cent you pay for their services.
THE BEST. Absolutely. You can't have more. Excellent customer service, excellent tech quality, excellent uptime. Maybe a bit expensive but, you know, quality has to be paid. A+++

HostPro has a useful approach to VPS backups. The entire server is backed up remotely every day, and copies can be kept for up to 30 days. Being able to restore a specific file or directory when necessary is also convenient, especially when a full server restore isn't required.

For a growing application, having the option to scale server resources can be more practical than overprovisioning from day one. HostPro offers scalable server solutions based on KVM virtualization and NVMe storage. Their locations include Warsaw, Amsterdam, and Tampa, while daily backups with 30-day retention and 24/7 technical support provide additional flexibility.

Raw speed figures rarely capture how a VPS actually performs once it's under real load. I've been running my main projects on hostpro.com, and their daily backups of all services have already saved me after a failed update and once after a hacking attempt. Their technical support is qualified and available 24/7, ready to help with any question free of charge.
