Hi there, we're in the process of setting up our finance company in Cuba and are currently searching for a VPS server or Dedicated Server located within the country. We require features such as unlimited traffic, along with at least 5GB, if not 10GB of space for our database.

Additionally, it is important that the service provider is based in Cuba, ideally with reliable and secure data center facilities. Do you have any recommendations or suggestions for us?

Such services work on the same principle: the office is where the creator lives, and the servers are in any country where there is an appropriate infrastructure, and it is advisable to rent a real server for little money.

Cuba, as we understand it, has nothing to do with such countries. There are few centers of collocation. If they exist, then either for the state, or local business built for themselves.
What is the point of building many data centers there? With whom to compete? Nobody needs them - the price will be colossal, and there will be few buyers.

As I see it, to provide a VPS server, you need to talk about the price.
Good luck to you!

I don't know which is better for you, but I used two. If you need a budget option, then take a server from evoxt.com. They offer unlimited traffic for $3 and a 5 GB disk, for 10 it costs $5. If you want something more serious, then take the package from cloudhost.cm/en. Here you have a free domain name and a large disk - 500 GB and unlimited traffic. Price - $80 ($40 for the first year).

Recently, Cubans found themselves in an unusual situation compared to the rest of the world. Despite being heavily restricted from accessing the internet, they still managed to obtain the latest electronics through illegal means. This included smartphones, tablets, PCs, and even satellite communication devices, which were accessible despite their high prices. These circumstances gave rise to the development of so-called offline websites or servers, which could be accessed for a small fee from local underground dealers.

Depending on the user's interests, these archives could include a variety of content, such as movies, music, and up-to-date bulletin boards. However, just like with online content, there were certain restrictions in place due to politics, and those engaging in illegal activities were aware of these boundaries and engaged in self-censorship to avoid crossing them. While authorities were likely aware of this illegal data trafficking, they chose to turn a blind eye as long as it did not pose a threat to their political agenda.

One such provider is ETECSA, the state-owned telecommunications company in Cuba. They offer a range of hosting solutions, including VPS and Dedicated Servers, with varying levels of storage and bandwidth. While they may not offer unlimited traffic, they do provide a robust infrastructure that is secure and reliable. However, be prepared for some limitations, as ETECSA is a government-run entity, and their services may be subject to certain restrictions.

Another option is Cubacel, a private telecommunications company that offers a range of hosting solutions, including VPS and Dedicated Servers. They claim to have state-of-the-art data center facilities, with redundant power supplies, cooling systems, and security measures in place. While I couldn't find any specific information on their storage and bandwidth offerings, they do seem to be a reputable provider with a strong focus on security and reliability.

It's worth noting that both ETECSA and Cubacel are subject to the Cuban government's regulations and restrictions, which may impact your ability to access certain services or content. As such, it's essential to carefully review their terms and conditions before signing up for their services.

In terms of features, both providers offer a range of options, including cPanel, PHP, and MySQL support. However, I couldn't find any information on their exact storage and bandwidth offerings, so it's essential to contact them directly to discuss your specific requirements.
While finding a reliable and secure VPS or Dedicated Server in Cuba can be a challenge, ETECSA and Cubacel are two providers that are worth considering. Be sure to carefully review their terms and conditions, and don't hesitate to reach out to them directly to discuss your specific requirements. As a web hosting specialist, I would advise you to prioritize security and reliability above all else, as a reliable hosting solution is crucial for any online business.

Finding a dedicated web server in Cuba is challenging due to limited local providers. Consider exploring international hosting services with Latin American servers for reliable connectivity and secure data center facilities.
