Webhosting with good antispam

Hey there,

One of the domains hosted on masterhost is receiving a lot of spam and although there are filters in place along with a local Kerio, only a third of the spam is being caught. I attempted to enable dmarc but found out that masterhost had just started supporting DKIM and everything was done manually. I'm considering transferring the MX record to another host, any recommendations?

The domain is currently delegated to masterhost and registered in the management center. If I were to switch to hosting on rucenter and rewrite the MX record, will DKIM still work? Will it be necessary to order DNS hosting for the domain? I'd appreciate any tips you have.

People who lack money often engage in scripting. Creating their own set of rules, they may even resort to sending test emails to a Google mailbox in order to check the appearance and placement of each letter. This way, they can make decisions based on the results. Alternatively, some might prefer a free and efficient service that doesn't require them to put in much effort.

The Plus Plan offered by Bluehost is considered the best option for those who use WordPress. Not only is it highly secure and reliable, it is also budget-friendly. For those who are just starting out with creating their own website or blog, Bluehost's basic package should be more than enough.

As your business grows and expands, it might be worth looking into upgrading to the Plus tariff plan. This plan includes an unlimited number of working domains, an SSL certificate, and antispam features all for $4.94 per month for a 3-year commitment. If you're managing a company and looking for a more comprehensive package, the Cloud or VPS plan may be a better fit. These options offer more storage, unlimited bandwidth, and faster download speeds.

If you're considering transferring the MX record to another host, there are a few things you should keep in mind.

Firstly, when switching hosting providers, it's important to check if the new provider supports DKIM and provides comprehensive spam filtering. This will ensure that you don't encounter the same issues with spam as you did with your current host.

Regarding DKIM, typically, DKIM keys are specific to each hosting provider. So, when you switch to a new host, you'll need to generate new DKIM keys for your domain. You should reach out to your new hosting provider for assistance with this process.

As for DNS hosting, it depends on your new hosting provider's offerings. Some hosting providers offer DNS hosting as part of their package, while others may require you to order DNS hosting separately. It's recommended to check with your new host to see if they provide DNS hosting services or if you need to acquire it elsewhere.

Overall, when considering transferring your MX record to a new host, it's essential to evaluate their spam filtering capabilities, DKIM support, and DNS hosting options. Proper communication with the new host will help ensure a smooth transition and minimize any potential disruptions.
