Coders and system admin, what kind of service do you utilize to launch bots, website or applications?
(Or perhaps you created your own?) Which distribution is your server running on? (Debian, Ubuntu, and so on.) How much do you spend on server leasing and what are its specifications?

I often launch my bots and applications using a combination of services. One popular service I use is AWS (Amazon Web Services), which provides a wide array of cloud products. I also sometimes turn to Heroku for smaller projects because it's very user-friendly for deploying web applications quickly.

For my server setup, I'm mostly working with Ubuntu distribution since I find it reliable and supported by a large community. I've also tried Debian, but Ubuntu has more pre-built packages that make my life easier. Currently, I lease a VPS from DigitalOcean, which costs me around $10 a month. My server specification is usually 2GB RAM and 1 vCPU with 50GB SSD storage, which is enough for my needs per now.

One thing I really enjoy is auto-scaling features, which help if traffic increases unexpectedly. But, I also think about security and often use services like Cloudflare for protection against DDoS attacks.

In terms of budget, my overall spending on server leasing and related services varies, but I try to keep it around 20 to 30 dollars per month, which allows me to carry out most of my projects without any hassle. I've even started experimenting with other platforms like Firebase for quick database solutions, but that's more for specific types of applications.

I can tell you about two hosting options. Ospanel, for instans, costs nothing annually, and you get a generous 100 GB of storage for free. Then there's Infinityfree, which is also free per year. However, if you want a premium plan, it will set you back about 7 to 8 dollar monthly, offering 25 GB of disk space in its no-cost version.

I often find myself working with WordPress hosting. They offer a variety of plans ranging from no cost to premium options. Naturally, the priciest plan comes packed with every feature imaginable. Personally, I stick with the free plan. One thing to note is that all sites hosted here have a *.wordpress.com suffix. I guess if you go for the paid version, you might be able to eliminate that.

To access the hosting, just head over to wordpress.com, and then tap on the three bars located in the upper right corner; you'll spot an option that says "WordPress Hosting" or something similar. While free hosting is great to start with, I'd recommend considering a paid plan if you need more control and flexibility for your projects.
