I don't want to consider excuses such as "Who will also need to register it" or "yes, there will be little traffic there". I'm interested in the core of the matter. Furthermore, is there any way to prevent "copy-pasting" of your site or domain name? For example, can lodging a complaint with the hosting provider yield results, or would it require legal intervention?

Diverting load won't be effective if you associate all domains with a single hosting service. The domain is simply a name that enables users to locate the website without the need to search for its IP. Load distribution necessitates clustering and balancing.

Efficiency depends on the target audience of the website. For instance, if the website has an international presence, it might be beneficial to register domains in national zones for redirecting traffic to localized pages where users can select their preferred language, find regional representatives, and so on. This method allows primary traffic to be directed to auxiliary servers to relieve pressure on the primary server.

The third option is when businesses reserve their names across all well-known areas to prevent patent trolls from registering domains like "Google.de" and demanding exorbitant sums for domain purchase.
