It's time for me to start my online store, which sells spare parts for bakery and packaging equipment. I'm planning to use the Tilda platform because I believe it's superior to other platforms.

Before I start building my store, I need to do a few things. First, I need to choose a domain name registrar, then decide where my server will be located, and finally choose hosting. Once that's done, I'll use a designer to create the website.

Of course, there may be other steps involved that I'm not aware of, so any advice would be greatly appreciated. I've decided to go with Namecheap as my domain name registrar, but I've heard they offer a lot of extras that I may or may not need. If anyone has experience with this, please share your knowledge. Thank you!

When registering a domain, it is recommended to use resellers of registrars.

Tilda does not require hosting, but you may not have a 100% customizable website.

Although most studios receive a kickback for using Bitrix, the code is not great and you will need to pay for every customization.

A better option is using open-source platforms like Opencart or Prestashop, as there are numerous free modules and templates available.

It remains uncertain how the current situation will impact prices for website development. While Opencart specialists may prefer working with foreign currency, Bitrix specialists may be willing to work for very low wages due to lack of demand for the platform outside the country.

There are a few additional points to consider when building an online store:

1. Determine what kind of traffic the store will handle. If the traffic is purchased from one source, a CRM may not be necessary. However, if the traffic is purchased from several sources or through SEO, a CRM will likely be needed. Additionally, if running shareware or using doorways, a tracker will be required.

2. The lifespan of the internet project is the most important consideration. This decision will determine the programming language used and the level of support needed for the project. All other factors are secondary.

Once your online store begins receiving a sufficient amount of orders to recoup the costs of promotion and order processing, you've passed the most difficult stage of creating a successful online business.

However, your work is not done yet. As with any other business, you must continue to monitor and adjust its performance. InSales provides analytics tools that allow you to track who is buying from your site, how frequently they're making purchases, and when they're doing so.

By using this data, you can identify opportunities to expand promotion channels, experiment with new promotions, and improve the effectiveness of existing channels. This will help your online store continue to grow and succeed in the long term.

Here's some advice that may be helpful as you move forward:

Domain Name Registrar: Namecheap is a popular choice and offers competitive pricing. It's great that you've already made a decision on this. Make sure to choose a domain name that is relevant, easy to remember, and aligns with your brand.

Server Location: The location of your server will affect the speed and performance of your website. Consider choosing a server location that is closer to your target audience or where most of your customers are located. This can help reduce latency and improve user experience.

Hosting: Since you're using the Tilda platform, you don't have to worry about hosting as Tilda provides their own hosting services. This makes it convenient since you won't have to go through the process of finding a separate hosting provider.

Website Design: Using a designer to create your website is a good approach, especially if you want a professional-looking store. Tilda also offers pre-designed templates and a drag-and-drop interface, which can make it relatively easy for you or your designer to create a visually appealing website without extensive coding knowledge.

Extras from Namecheap: While Namecheap does offer extras, like email accounts and SSL certificates, you should carefully consider which extras are truly necessary for your online store. For example, an SSL certificate is important for securing customer data during transactions, but additional features like email accounts might not be immediately crucial. Start with the essentials and add extras as needed.

Here are some additional tips and considerations for starting your online store:

1. Payment Processing: Choose a reliable payment gateway that supports the types of payments you want to accept. Popular options include PayPal, Stripe, and Square. Make sure to set up secure payment processing to protect customer information.

2. Product Content: Create detailed and captivating descriptions for your spare parts. Include high-quality images from different angles and consider providing specifications and compatibility information. Clear product information can help customers make informed purchasing decisions.

3. SEO Optimization: Optimize your website for search engines to improve visibility and organic traffic. Research relevant keywords and incorporate them into your product descriptions, page titles, URLs, and meta tags. Consider creating a blog to generate valuable content and drive more traffic to your store.

4. Social Media Presence: Establishing a strong social media presence can boost brand awareness and attract potential customers. Identify the platforms that your target audience uses most frequently, such as Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn, and create compelling content to engage with your audience. You can also run targeted ad campaigns to further promote your online store.

5. Customer Support: Consider how you will handle customer inquiries, returns, and support. Set up clear communication channels, like email or a live chat system, to address customer questions promptly. Providing excellent customer service can help build loyalty and positive word-of-mouth.

6. Marketing Strategy: Develop a marketing strategy to promote your online store. This could involve various tactics, such as email marketing, influencer partnerships, content marketing, or paid advertising. Determine your target audience and tailor your promotional efforts to reach them effectively.

7. Regular Maintenance: Once your online store is up and running, allocate time for regular maintenance. Ensure that your software and plugins are up to date, monitor website performance, and regularly back up your data. Regularly updating your inventory and adding new products will keep your store fresh.

Pick a stage: Select a solid web based business stage like Shopify, WooCommerce, or BigCommerce, which offers easy to understand instruments to fabricate and deal with your web-based store.

Plan your store: Make an engaging and easy to understand site with a natural design, alluring visuals, and clear item portrayals to improve the shopping experience.

Add items and classes: Sort out your stock into classifications and add excellent item pictures and nitty gritty depictions to assist clients with settling on informed buying choices.

Set up installment and delivery choices: Offer a variety of shipping options and secure payment gateways to meet the needs of your customers and make the checkout process as easy as possible.

Market your store: Use computerized promoting techniques, for example, web-based entertainment, email missions, and site design improvement (Web optimization) to direct people to your internet based store and increment deals.
