There is a hosting provider with three servers; one in Germany and two in England. However, there are instances of interruptions which may be due to network overlays on the mainline. In Germany, some users can't get through while others can. Interruptions happen around 5-8 times a year for about 15-20 minutes.

In England, construction site problems cause idle times for 1-3 hours, which is longer compared to Germany's downtime. Interruptions in England happen less often, around 2-3 times a year.

Downtime is critical because each server has at least 24 databases with up to 1000 requests each. Users are unhappy with the interruptions.

Based on experience, can you recommend the best place to rent a server? The main requirement is simplicity and minimal downtime of 1-3 hours.

Thank you.

We've been utilizing OVH for five years and have had almost no interruptions. The only significant downtime happened once a year for ten minutes.

Using SSD has been beneficial for our company. We currently have about 110 drives that we use on OVH webservers, local servers, and workstations. We've been using the first batch of SSDs for five years now, and we haven't experienced any failures so far out of the hundred drives.

I suggest considering the reliability and longevity of hardware when choosing a server provider. It's crucial to choose hardware that can withstand extended use and doesn't cause too much inconvenience in case of possible downtime.

One of the benefits of renting a server in Germany is its stability and high speed not only for Europe but also beyond. It's connected to the world's most extensive DE-CIX traffic exchange point.

Another advantage is data security and confidentiality, which the Germans prioritize. They also offer quality technical support and flexibility. The latest equipment and innovations are used for German VPS / VDS.

When it comes to data security, the placement of information on German virtual servers guarantees both high technological and legal standards.
