Title: Upgrading to dedicated server hosting. Any recommendations?
Post by: Torreako on Jun 02, 2025, 07:01 AM
I'm currently using one of VPS services but would like to upgrade to a dedicated server.
Can you assist with migration and recommend a suitable server? What can you say about GTHost.com USA dedicated servers? Can I rely on them? Other options?

Fully satisfied using GTHost.com Atlanta servers (https://gthost.com/instant-servers/). Try E5-2695v3, 64GB, 2x480GB SSD, 300M Unmetered starting at $99.
With increased speed, your website will also have these potential benefits. Unparalleled speed for resource-heavy applications.

Sure, happy to help!

If you're planning to upgrade from VPS to a dedicated server, it's definitely a good move if you need more control, performance, or security.

I've heard some good feedback about GTHost.com, especially their instant deployment in the US and competitive pricing. But as always, uptime, support responsiveness, and hardware quality are key — so it's worth testing them or checking real user reviews on trusted platforms.

You might also want to consider:

Hetzner (if EU location works for you – very cost-effective)

OVHcloud (strong global presence, anti-DDoS included)

LiquidWeb (premium support, great for managed servers)

Leaseweb or Hivelocity (for US-focused projects)

Regarding migration, many providers offer free or paid migration services — check with their support team. Alternatively, using tools like cPanel transfer, rsync, or Rclone (for large files) can help if you're doing it yourself.

What's your main use case — hosting sites, apps, or something else? That can help narrow down the best specs.

Like GTHost.com New York Servers (https://gthost.com/instant-servers/). Immediate account setup and I had a number of questions that I sent via email and they were answered precisely, accurately, logically and in easy to understand terms in less than 15 minutes.
