As a web developer, I'm interested in monetizing my website through advertising. My strategy includes several key steps:

1. Staying up-to-date with current trends and search queries to identify what's relevant and interesting to people at the moment.
2. Selecting fresh topics that haven't been covered extensively before, such as cryptocurrencies.
3. Choosing a topic that interests me personally to enhance my motivation.
4. Evaluating the potential of the chosen niche based on factors like competition, profitability, and saturation.
5. Creating a website and generating content around the chosen topic by either creating original content or reworking existing content to suit my website.
6. Adding unique features to my website that makes it memorable and useful to visitors.
7. Investing money and effort into promoting my website to gain traffic and visibility.
8. Making sure that my site is designed to serve people, not just search engines.
9. Placing ads subtly and creatively, possibly using banners or other methods.
10. Watching the ad revenue flow in as my site gains popularity.
12. Finally, enjoying the fruits of my labor!

This plan sounds realistic and well-considered. Of course, its success ultimately depends on the quality of execution and how well it resonates with target audiences. Nonetheless, if you stay committed and dedicated, it's highly likely you will be successful.

My suggestion would be to transform this action plan into a comprehensive business plan. This would involve defining timelines for each stage, estimating the associated costs, and projecting the expected revenue. In my opinion, pursuing this approach may not be worthwhile given the limited potential return on investment. Alternatively, working as a web developer for an established studio may prove to be more profitable. However, there is potential for significant gains if you are able to create a sustainable media portal, develop a highly specialized tool, or run an online store with high turnover.

I feel an intense frustration towards content farmers. Whenever I search for information online, the top search results are overrun by these sites that do nothing but rehash contents without providing any valuable insights, personal experience, or usefulness for visitors.

It's incredibly challenging to find a truly informative website created with a clear intention of sharing knowledge, maintained by experts in their fields, and only then monetized. Instead, one has to relentlessly sift through mountains of garbage content that was solely generated for the purpose of commercial gains - often accomplished through scraping information from other sites on similar topics and rearranging the words to create a new post.

I'm going to share a harsh reality check: scrap items 1-3 of your plan because they won't work. Only pursue projects that you're passionate about. Take an hour to be silent and introspective, and analyze what topics genuinely interest you. Pick three topics, and start building a website for the first one. While you work on that site, let the other two topics percolate in your mind.

Once you launch the first site, move onto the second one. Then the third. Once again, take a break and analyze your interests to find the next three topics for your sites. Rinse and repeat.

It's impossible to predict which site will generate the most income, but rest assured that all sites will attract visitors and bring in some income. If you want constructive feedback (without insults or profanity but also without sugarcoating), feel free to reach out.

Webmasters who place banners on their sites to earn money often struggle with how to increase revenue without resorting to illegal tactics, such as scripts that cheat impressions and clicks. While such methods may temporarily boost income, they can also result in banning or the write-off of inflated earnings.

To help you maximize your banner ad revenue in a legitimate way, Advert, an RTB network system for earning money from banner displays using RTB technology, has provided some recommendations based on its experience and testing several sites. It's important to note that some recommendations may work well for certain sites but be ineffective for others. Therefore, testing and comparison are crucial.

Here are tips for increasing revenue through banner placement:

1. Prioritize popular banner formats, such as 240*400 and 728*90, which are available in all systems and most commonly used by advertisers.
2. Place banners within the first screen or within 1200 pixels from the upper border of the screen on pages with a lot of content to ensure more frequent display, which will positively impact revenue.
3. Use end-to-end placement on all or most pages of the site.
4. Prioritize pages with high views, especially for banners with pay-per-impressions.
5. Experiment with two or more banners of the same format while avoiding oversaturation with excess ads.
6. Optimize placement of pay-per-click banners closer to navigation buttons.
7. Consider placing banners directly within content for a positive impact on income.
8. Implement floating banners that remain visible on a monitor screen regardless of scrolling.

By implementing these tips, you can increase your chance of generating higher revenue through banner ads without resorting to shady tactics.
