Title: Commissions in domain name trading
Post by: anya_catherine on Jul 28, 2022, 12:11 AM
I would like to know what is the typical commission rate in the domain exchange industry when comparing different services. Can you advise me on where to find the lowest commission rate? I would appreciate hearing about your personal experiences.
Thank you in advance.

I have been involved in selling domain names for six years, since my high school days when the commission rates were 10-20%. I still have over 400 domain names that I renew annually as I receive purchase inquiries.
It was much easier earlier and I regret not starting five years earlier. Currently, it's like a passive income, but I've heard from forums that there are new ways to earn from it. Maybe I'll get back into it.

Commission rates in the domain exchange industry can vary depending on the platform or service you use. It's best to research and compare different platforms to find the lowest commission rate that suits your needs.
Some popular domain exchange services include GoDaddy, Namecheap, Sedo, and Flippa. You can visit their websites to get more detailed information about their commission rates. Additionally, you can also consider reaching out to domain brokers who may offer personalized services with negotiated commission rates.
