Title: Buying domains

I'm looking to purchase cooking-related domain names similar to other websites, but I'm unsure which domain provider is superior for a long-term solution.

Are you referring to the best domain registrar?

If cost is not a concern and you want high quality, GoDaddy would be an ideal option for your domain purchases. They provide professional website building services, email hosting, US phone numbers, and even offer the option to hire professional web developers for monthly maintenance. However, their prices are quite steep.

On the other hand, if affordable domains are your priority, you could try Namecheap, Dynadot, Porkbun, or Epik. I find Dynadot to have the most reasonable prices with easy-to-manage DNS service. I personally use Dynadot for domain binding with my GoDaddy website, Blogger, and GoDaddy email without any issues.

Lastly, if you're willing to invest in a secondary domain market with the potential of getting a loan for the domain, Epik would be your best bet as they offer this unique feature.

Google Domains is a solid choice. Their integration with Google Cloud Platform is seamless, and their pricing is competitive. However, their support can be lacking at times, and their feature set is not as robust as some of the other providers. On the other hand, Namecheap offers a wide range of features, including free WhoisGuard and DNS management, but their support can be hit-or-miss.
