I have a solid understanding of DNS and have successfully set up my own DNS name server to manage multiple domains with Namecheap. However, when I attempted to do the same with a domain in Cosmotown and contacted support, they informed me that it would work with their internal NS. Unfortunately, this response was unhelpful as I preferred to use my own nameserver.
Even more concerning is that I still haven't received a response to my question about why only two of the 35 DNS servers on daschecker found my NS server after 48 hours.
Based on my experience, I have to say that Cosmotown appears to be broken, outdated, and should be avoided, particularly if you're planning to use your own nameserver.
