I have been a member of the GoDaddy domain discount club for many years, but now I find their pricing expensive if not using the club discounts.

In the past, I used to utilize Namecheap's transfer promotions, but due to their high renewal rates, I have ceased doing so. Currently, I only transfer domain names to Namecheap when I plan on keeping a name for one more year before dropping it.
If I intend to retain the name for the long-term, then I leave it with its current registrar.
