Hello!

Could you recommend a reliable domain name registrar with reasonable prices? I am looking to switch from my current registrar.

I am particularly interested in the following zones:
.de
.com/net/org
.am (Armenian)

Ideally, I would like the registrar to support a wide variety of international zones for future use.

I used to rely on idomen for several years because they offered the cheapest domains and renewal fees. However, when I needed to urgently renew a domain, it became problematic. I had lost the password to my personal account and the support service did not respond to my requests to restore it on the site. Maybe now everything has been fixed.

So, I decided to transfer the domain to namecheap, but it turned out to be quite expensive to pay for domains there. In comparison, Timeweb provides a simpler and more affordable option for domain payments.

The interpretation of "Good" varies from person to person, just like the range of prices differs for each individual.

I couldn't find any specific mention that domains can only be registered in France (although that doesn't necessarily mean it's not the case :)), but considering the current political situation, domain selection may differ between locations, even if they serve the same purpose.

AWS Route53 is still capable of handling domain registrations, although there is uncertainty about the availability of all the required top-level domains (TLDs).

Considering your needs here are several domain registrars you could consider:

Namecheap: Known for their affordability, Namecheap has a user-friendly interface and good customer support. They offer a wide range of TLDs including all you are interested in. They also offer some additional services such as web hosting and SSL certificates.

Gandi.net: This is a French company known for its strong stance on privacy. Gandi.net offers a broad range of domain extensions including .de, .com, .net, .org and .am among others. Added value is their "no bullshit" policy and a free SSL certificate with every domain.

Porkbun: They are relatively new in the market, but have gained recognition for their competitive prices and customer service. They support a wide variety of zones including .de, .com, .net, .org and more. They currently do not have .am listed, but they have an extensive list of other international zones.

Dynadot: Known for its excellent customer service, Dynadot supports a broad variety of wards including all your preferences (.de, .com, .net, .org, .am) and many other international ones. They also offer services like web hosting and SSL security.

Hover: Hover is known for its simple, straightforward, and ad-free approach to domain registration. It has a broad range of TLDs, including .de and .com/.net/.org, but as of my knowledge cut-off in September 2021, they do not offer .am. They have an extensive list of other international domains and offer features like domain privacy included for free.

IONOS by 1&1: This is a web hosting company that also offers domain registration. They support a broad variety of TLDs including .de, .com, .net, .org. The .am might not be there, but they offer a vast range of other international TLDs.

Google Domains: Google became a domain registrar a few years ago, offering a simple interface, transparent pricing, and privacy protection included at no additional cost. They support a broad variety of TLDs, but it's best to check if they have the specific zones you're interested in.

Remember to consider not only the price but also the features and support of the registrar as the part of your decision-making process. Even if one is slightly more expensive, they might offer services that you'll find worthwhile. Also, some registrars provide extras such as free domain privacy, free email, or even a basic website, so consider your overall needs when choosing.
