In 2021, Epik acquired DNForum and made announcements about its plans for the domain forum. As the oldest community of domain investors and collectors in the industry, DNForum represented a great opportunity for Epik to extend its products and services.

However, in recent months, Epik has been facing issues, such as failing to pay out its "escrowed" domain sales and a worthless Masterbucks token. Additionally, there is a fresh lawsuit against Epik.
In December, Digital Candy UK acquired DNForum from Epik, but quickly sold it to Helmuts Meskonis, who appears to be inexperienced in the domain industry. Meskonis implemented paid memberships on both domain forums and has faced swift backlash from the members.
Meskonis seemingly spent a good chunk of money on the forums, hoping to revive them to their former glory, but traffic and user interaction have been trickling for years.
One asset of DNForum that still belongs to Epik is the registered trademark for DNFORUM.COM, which was renewed by Epik in December 2022. This puts the trademark in Epik's lap, giving them the freedom to do as they please with it.
Interestingly, Helmuts Meskonis had not even registered his own name's domain before his acquisition of DNForum, but someone else has since registered it for him.
