The buyer of Studion.com got a generous discount of $70,000 on Afternic from the Dutch seller, selling it for a price of $10,000.

The buyer decided to upgrade from the .co domain to the prestigious and aged .com domain. Initially unsure if it was the right choice, our honest opinion is that it definitely was!

Studion.com, registered in 1994, translates to "studio" in various languages, including Greek, and is derived from the Latin word "Studium."

Afternic seems to have been the platform where Studion.com was sold, although it was also listed on Dan.com. The seller, experienced domain investor Rico Dekker, acquired it as an expired domain for only $1,000 in 2010. Source: NameBio.

The decision to upgrade and rebrand the domain from Studion.co to Studion.com is a smart one. The buyer, Alfred Nerstu, showcased impressive negotiation skills to secure such a substantial discount.
