ENS has requested a court to permit the transfer of eth.link to a different registrar after experiencing DNS abuse complaint which caused the site's unavailability.

The group is currently in litigation with its current registrar, Dynadot, and is trying to move the domain away from them. The court had previously presented a preliminary injunction in favor of ENS and Virgil Griffith, which ordered the domain to be transferred to the plaintiffs before the case's conclusion.

However, Dynadot placed a transfer lock on it afterward, which ENS didn't complain about until the recent DNS abuse issue. ENS fears that Dynadot might take down the site again, hence why they're requesting court permission to move the domain to another registrar.
