In February, Epik, an unsettled registrar, experienced a lower number of outbound transfers than in January.

The latest registry transaction reports reveal negative net transfers of 22,284, which is somewhat better than the previous month's negative net transfers of 30,596. Of the transfers made, there were 23,783 outbound and 1,499 inbound.

It is possible that the relatively improved net transfers reflect the shorter month but could also signify Epik's difficulty executing transfers due to serious cash flow problems. Throughout the month, Epik's total number of domains under management decreased from 684,691 to 648,092.

However, the number of deleted domains decreased from 20,363 in January to 16,591.

Epik recently disclosed it has been sold to an anonymous buyer for nearly $5 million and has resolved its registry debts and customer lawsuit, which is great news for the company.
