It was sold by Cirque du Soleil at an undisclosed price due to NDA. Fred has a portfolio of exact-match large market U.S. city .com domain names, and he marketed them to major newspaper publishers and media companies who are transitioning from print to digital delivery.
Over the past 14 months, the Scottsdale.com, LosAngeles.com, and SanDiego.com brands from the portfolio have also been sold. LosAngeles.com also went to Peter Niederman, who already owns other geo domain gems Denver.com, SanFrancisco.com, Seattle.com, and Boulder.com.
Fred and Niederman plan to develop NewYork.com and also explore the possibility of packaging it with SanFrancisco.com for the right buyer. Fred, who now focuses on his brokerage services of major City names, represents many other amazing inventory available.
Fred had a portfolio of major city domains that included NewYork.com, LosAngeles.com, SanFrancisco.com, Houston.com, Denver.com, and others, and he believed that a savvy investor/company would acquire the major digital footprint.
