The layoffs will mostly take place today with some happening tomorrow morning locally. Most impacted roles are in the U.S., affecting multiple levels in the company and every division.

The planned impacts also include ongoing work to integrate three of GoDaddy's brands further – Media Temple, Main Street Hub, and 123 Reg into GoDaddy. Media Temple customers and team members are already aware of the transition to GoDaddy infrastructure. Main Street Hub customers will also continue to transition to GoDaddy products while 123 Reg will continue as a customer-facing brand. Due to the slower growth in a prolonged, uncertain macroeconomic environment, the company was unable to avoid the impacts of the challenges it faced despite its efforts to manage costs effectively.
