Known by his peers as "Gerry," he has had an impressive career in IP law, having worked as a partner at Levine Samuel since 2004. He has also taught at renowned institutions such as Columbia Law School, Cardozo Law School, and New York Law School.

Gerald Levine has written numerous articles and books on intellectual property law, with a focus on the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution (UDRP) Policy, but it is his legal publications regarding trademark and domain names that are particularly noteworthy.

The ICA presented the Lifetime Achievement Award to Gerry to recognize his unparalleled knowledge of domain name law and his dedication to exploring and analyzing UDRP Policy jurisprudence.

This recognition is a fitting tribute to Gerald Levine's longstanding commitment to the field of intellectual property law. His scholarly work and treatise have significantly contributed to enhancing the understanding of domain name law and UDRP jurisprudence, benefiting trademark and domain name owners alike.

Additionally, in honor of Gerald Levine, the ICA will establish an annual lecture series to foster discussion and learning in the field of UDRP.
