Title: Provocative language on Prepare.com entices buyers
Post by: Domaining News on Jan 12, 2023, 10:30 AM
The domain name Prepare.com is currently up for auction at GoDaddy auctions, with current bid exceeding $41,000 dollars, after the registrant failed to renew it in December.

This premium domain name was registered in 1996, and although its registration email was "what.part.of.its.not.for.sale.dont.you.understand@prepare.com", it was once presented by its registrant as not for sale. However, anyone interested in acquiring it may need to pay a non-refundable processing fee of 10% of the proposed purchase price, as a demonstration of seriousness.

It's not clear why the domain expired, but if it sells, there could be some speculation about what would happen if the registrant emerges from anonymity.
