I recently received an email from Uni (formerly Uniregistry) that initially appeared to be a Whois verification email, so I almost ignored it. However, it turned out to be quite important as it informed me that one of my domain names will be transferred to 1API if I don't take action soon.

Dear customer,
According to our records, you currently have domain(s)* registered at Uniregistry.com that will be transferred to 1API GmbH as the new registrar. You will still remain the registrant for these domains, and domain management will continue to be handled by Uniregistry.

This transfer will occur prior to March 12, 2023.
If you prefer not to have your domain(s) transferred to 1API GmbH, you have until March 8, 2023, to transfer them to a different registrar.
Please note that this change in domain registration will not impact your web hosting or any other services associated with your domains.

One of my domain names, Elliot.Link, which I registered in 2015 and used for forwarding to my LinkedIn page, is not particularly important to me. Therefore, I will allow it to be transferred to 1API. However, individuals who own impacted domain names and do not wish to use 1API may want to consider an outbound transfer before the March 12th deadline.
