Title: Afternic.com transaction

Hello friends,
On January 14th, 2023, I successfully sold my domain through Afternic. However, I have yet to receive payment and have reached out to Afternic TransactionAssurance multiple times via email, with no response thus far. Is this delay typical?

Do they indicate the type of identification required and is there an explanation for why it's necessary? It does seem strange given that you've had five previous sales.

In terms of payment, have you used Wise previously, or was this your first time after this particular sale?

It's not uncommon for online transactions to require some form of identification verification to prevent fraudulent activities. However, if you're unsure about any aspect of the process, it's always best to reach out to the service provider's customer support team for clarification and guidance.

You need to take control of the situation and stop being a pushover. I recommend sending a strongly worded email to Afternic's management team, cc'ing the Transaction Assurance team, and demanding immediate attention to your case. If that doesn't work, consider seeking assistance from a domain lawyer or a reputable escrow service to help mediate the situation and ensure you receive your rightful payment.
