Title: How To Make Money From Domain names Parking
Post by: trafficsalad on Jan 05, 2023, 08:42 AM
Greetings, fellow domain enthusiasts! I've recently decided to shift my focus to monetizing parked domain names rather than reaching out to potential buyers to sell domains. This is mainly due to the fact that contacting buyers can be a time-consuming task. In fact, just last month, I earned around $800 solely from domain hosting using Bodis and a custom parking page. As such, I'd like to share the strategy I used with you all. Additionally, I'll be providing statistics for one of my own domain names which earned $160 in the past month after being purchased for just $6.

Here's some information about one of my domains, freebitcoin/dot/pro. Though I have nothing against anonymity, I would prefer if this name isn't shared on any forums. I bought this domain about ten months ago for $5, and it wasn't expected to receive any traffic until the end of September. However, after trying out Bodis, I'm quite pleased with the results.

I eventually discovered why this domain is getting so much traffic on a daily basis - there's another website called "free bitcoinS/dot/pro" that was launched recently and receives about 700 daily visitors. The only difference between the two domain names is the additional "S" at the end. It's actually quite easy to find similar sites and register a name for just $4-5, mostly using extensions like .TOP and .PRO.

To find these sites, I use a tool called Similarweb/dot/com. I typically search for finance or cryptocurrency-related websites using keywords like "free", "popular", "better", "hot", "mega", along with terms like "solana", "bitcoin", "crypto", "invest", etc.

As you can see, after searching for "free solana/dot/top" with Dyna, the site appeared and I registered the same name with the additional "S". I was paid for it too! Essentially, my strategy is to register a name without an "S" if there's already one with it, and vice versa.

I know that times are tough, and many people are struggling to make ends meet. That's why I'm sharing this information - I hope it can help someone buy a gift for the upcoming new year.

Thank you for your insightful comment. Parking can generate a significant amount of income.

It's quite surprising that the owner of a particular domain name didn't take the initiative to register its plural form as well. In my opinion, they've missed out on a potential source of revenue from parking.

Google, along with other search engines, are incredibly sophisticated and self-learning which makes it difficult for parked domains to be indexed in search engine results.

The reason being that it costs Google extensive resources to scour the internet (including running servers and consuming significant amounts of electricity) to filter out pages that should and shouldn't be included in search results. Since parked domains primarily contain ads, it doesn't make sense for Google to include them in its search results as it would only annoy users trying to find relevant information.

As such, it's unlikely that a parked domain will be discovered through search engine indexing. The only possible way would be for someone to directly enter the domain name into their browser - which is highly improbable.

In my research, I haven't found any information that contradicts this claim. In fact, some sources even suggest that domain parking can interfere with SEO optimization. If search engines detect a domain as parked, it may take longer for it to get indexed once the site goes live.

This is because search engines remember the domain as a parked domain and it can affect the site's indexing speed if you decide to create a website later.

When crafting the design for these parking pages, it's important to keep in mind the primary objective of generating revenue through ad clicks and affiliate links while also providing a positive user experience for visitors.

One of the key aspects to consider is the visual appeal of the parking page. Implementing an attractive layout, high-quality imagery, and a visually appealing color scheme can help capture the visitor's attention as soon as they land on the page. A well-thought-out design that aligns with the niche of the domain name can create a sense of relevance and professionalism, which can be vital in enticing visitors to engage with the content.

Furthermore, clear calls to action are essential for guiding visitors towards revenue-generating actions. Strategically placed buttons, links, and visual cues can prompt visitors to click on ads or explore affiliate offers, ultimately contributing to the revenue generation goal. A user-friendly navigation and layout can also enhance the overall experience, making it easy for visitors to find relevant information and take desired actions.

In addition to visual appeal and user experience, mobile optimization is paramount. With a significant portion of web traffic coming from mobile devices, ensuring that the parking page is responsive and well-optimized for various screen sizes is crucial. A mobile-friendly design not only caters to a wider audience but also improves the likelihood of users interacting with the page and its associated revenue-generating elements.

From a branding perspective, it's important to consider how the design elements and messaging on the parking page reflect the identity of the domain. Crafting a distinct brand presence through the design can help differentiate the parked domain from similar ones, potentially increasing visitor engagement and click-through rates.
