During the DropCatch auction, I acquired the domain name. Recently, I prepared myself to receive the transfer code, but encountered an error and sent a request for assistance via email. Upon receiving assistance, I was asked to provide the account support code which I did. However, to my surprise, the domain was missing from my account.
Sean from NameBright informed me that the domain had been transferred and thanked me for sending the support code. Although I had not transferred my domain, I was unable to obtain the transfer code as the lock could not be set at that time.
Further investigation revealed that the whois domain displayed at the namebright registrar was DropCatch.com 653 LLC, yet NameBright Sean customer service stated that the domain had indeed been transferred. I found their response unprofessional and questioned their knowledge about domains.
I shared my concerns regarding the unavailability of the transfer code with NameBright Sean, but instead of resolving the issue, they removed the domain from my account. The domain disappeared immediately after I provided the support code to them. This operation seems strange to me, and I am stunned by these events.
This issue remains unresolved, and I will continue to pursue it.
I am sorry to hear about the problem you are facing; it sounds pathetic. If you want, I have a few names that I can provide based on this report. It is unfortunate that one needs to be extra cautious these days.
