Title: GoDaddy lacks sufficient knowledge and expertise in their field
Post by: cassie_camay on Apr 27, 2023, 12:29 AM
As there is no official forum for godaddy, I wanted to bring up some concerns here. I have had trouble resolving issues with godaddy's live chat assistants.

It either takes hours for them to understand the problem or they give false information. For example, when I recently asked about the godaddy ACH bank account type, one assistant said it was savings, while two others said it was checking.

When I reached out to someone to confirm, they said they would check and disappeared after making me wait half an hour. Today, when I asked about the auction section, the representative gave political answers and when I told her they were not helpful, she disappeared after 15 minutes of silence.

Additionally, emails sent to different units such as auctions or afternic services are either responded to very late or not at all. These disruptions and delays make our work very difficult in an industry where time and effort are valuable.

Do you currently have any domains registered with GoDaddy? Those who invest in a large number of domains can be given a designated VIP Account Executive.
I have had positive experiences with them and they are accessible by email or phone.

It may be worth considering alternative methods of contacting GoDaddy, such as phone support or reaching out to customer service through their social media channels. You could also try posting in online forums or communities dedicated to domain services, as other users may have encountered similar issues and could provide guidance or suggestions. Remember to provide as much detail as possible when explaining your concerns, so that the support team can better understand and address your issues.

1. Escalate the issue: If you're not getting satisfactory responses from the live chat assistants, consider asking to speak with a supervisor or manager who may be able to provide better assistance or address your concerns.

2. Use alternative communication methods: Try contacting GoDaddy's customer support through different channels, such as phone or social media. Different support agents may have varying levels of expertise and responsiveness.

3. Seek assistance from the community: There are online forums and communities where domain service users share their experiences and seek help. Posting in these forums might lead to suggestions or solutions from other users who have faced similar issues.

4. dоcument your interactions: Keep a record of your conversations with GoDaddy support, including dates, times, and names of the representatives you have spoken with. This dоcumentation can be useful if you need to escalate the issue or make a formal complaint.

5. Consider exploring other domain service providers: If you continue to experience ongoing difficulties with GoDaddy's customer service, you may want to consider switching to a different domain service provider that offers more reliable support.
