Title: LicenseCart: Trustworthy or Questionable?
Post by: harrid on Dec 01, 2023, 01:40 AM
Hello there!

Could you provide some insights or feedback on LicenseCart? I'm interested in knowing if it's a reputable company and if anyone has had experience using their services. I recently discovered them and noticed they offer competitive prices, but I'd like to hear from others before making a decision. Any reviews or opinions would be highly appreciated.

I would advise considering starting with WHMCS using a monthly leased license, which is often included in the price of some reseller hosting packages.

If you anticipate using WHMCS for more than 2 years, then purchasing an owned license upfront can lead to significant cost savings.

Personally, I wouldn't recommend using free billing software options. WHMCS offers comprehensive functionality and, in my opinion, the price is reasonable given the potential return on investment.

Instead of focusing on saving money on billing software, it might be wiser to seek cost savings through a reseller account or VPS/dedicated server. Migrating billing data from one software to another is more complex, unlike moving data between servers, which can be done relatively easily if you encounter issues with your current provider's uptime or support.
