Title: Ban this webhosting
Post by: agelinajohly on Dec 18, 2022, 03:27 AM
Hey team, don't use that unreliable hosting service at https://good-host.net/. They're nothing special and have a track record of failure. Even though Ihor had a rough patch with them in the past, they continue to cause problems for others. It's not worth risking your server being taken down and hearing excuses from them afterwards.

I can totally relate to what you're saying. Recently, I had a similar experience where my web hosting provider carelessly took down all of my sites along with the VP's, as if it was no big deal.
Luckily, I had backups of everything, but when I tried to contact their management, they didn't even bother responding. It's frustrating, especially when I've been using their hosting for over a year now.

It's crucial to have a backup plan and choose a reliable hosting provider that values their customers. Customer support is just as important as uptime and pricing, so don't overlook it. Make sure to check reviews and ask around before committing to a service long-term. You don't want to be caught in a situation like mine or worse.

It's unfortunate that some low-paying customers misuse their hosting privileges by distributing Trojans or participating in scams. This puts the real owner of the hosting in a difficult position, as they may receive abuse and complaints. In response, they may have to take drastic action and put a stop to the entire settlement of users, regardless of who is truly at fault.

This is due to the fact that under the contract, the host only sells one tariff and isn't responsible for monitoring the actions of individual resellers. Their main objective is to prevent any harmful activity and maintain a safe environment for all users.

As a result, some opportunistic users may make a quick buck before moving onto a new site with a fresh tariff. Unfortunately, this can leave clients without backups and dealing with server issues. However, it's important to remember that choosing cheap hosting may come at a cost. It's worth investing in a more reliable provider to avoid these situations altogether.

This hosting provider is of low quality, and offers services such as hosting, VIP hosting, virtual and dedicated servers. It is possible to register a second-level domain with them, however, the overall quality of their services fall short in comparison to high-quality hosting providers. Their server is based in Germany.

Personally, I have been hosted with good-host.net for 6 months, but have faced great difficulty with their technical support team, who only work certain hours and provide poor results. The reliability of their hosting is also questionable, as my sites would often experience downtime lasting up to 2 days. Moreover, they have the ability to transfer your domain without sufficient explanation and have been known to delete accounts without warning.

The cost of their services may be attractive, but it is important to consider the potential consequences of choosing a low-quality hosting provider.

Their hosting is a flaming pile of fail-constant outages and a support team that's MIA. Ihor got shafted by them, and they're still dishing out the same crap to everyone else. You wanna see your money sites go dark because of their dumpster-tier servers?
Be my guest, but I'm not touching this sketchy outfit with a ten-foot pole.
