Title: Advise VPS with GPU
Post by: sewebservices on Nov 04, 2022, 01:39 AM
Can you recommend any VDS providers that allow for video card connection? I'm looking for affordable options with a weaker video card, and it would be great if there's a free trial period (even just a couple of hours). Please exclude ultravds.com from your recommendations.

Unfortunately, there isn't a low-cost alternative available at the moment. The only video card option is a GRID card that can cost several thousand euros.

Have you considered colocating your server instead? This way, you would only need to pay for power consumption rather than renting a full VDS. Alternatively, you could pursue short-term options like renting a server for a week. Do you have any available funds to invest in a more powerful solution?

By the way, I did find a 1U server that supports 2 LGA2011 processors and has 3 full height/full width GPUs, including a GRID K1 option. It may be worth looking into if you're in the market for a new server.

Hello! I've got a dedicated i3 server [nofollow] available for you to consider:

- CPU: Intel® Core™ i3-3220 Processor 2C/4T (3M Cache, 3.30 GHz)
- RAM: 16GB PC3-12800 DDR3 NON ECC
- Hard drive storage options:
        1 HDD: 2.5" 250GB SSD 6GB SATA3
        2-4 HDD: None
- IP addresses: 1 IPv4 and 1 IPv6 address
- Internet speed: 100Mbps

The monthly price of this server is €37, but you can get a 9% discount if you pay for the full 12 months upfront.

If you're interested in this offer, feel free to send me a personal message. Thank you for your time!

Additionally, it's important to note that while this server may suit your needs in terms of its specs and price, it's always recommended to research and compare different hosting providers before making a decision. This will help ensure that you're getting the best deal and service for your specific requirements.

Here are a few VDS (Virtual Dedicated Server) providers that allow for video card connection and offer affordable options:

1. Amazon EC2: Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) offers virtual servers with GPU instances that can be used for various applications, including video rendering and machine learning. They provide flexible pricing options and also have a free tier available for new users.

2. Google Cloud Platform: Google Cloud offers Virtual Machines with GPU support that can be used for video processing, AI, and other GPU-intensive workloads. They provide pricing options based on usage and also offer a free trial with $300 credit for new customers.

3. Microsoft Azure: Azure provides virtual machines with GPU capabilities through their N-series instances. These instances are suitable for high-performance computing, AI, and media processing. Azure also offers a free trial with $200 credit for new users.

4. Paperspace: Paperspace offers virtual machines specifically designed for GPU-intensive workloads like gaming, machine learning, and video editing. They have flexible pricing options, including hourly rates, and also provide a free trial period of up to 10 hours.

These providers should meet your requirements for affordable options with video card connection capabilities. However, I apologize as I don't have information on ultravds.com to include or exclude it from the recommendations.

Here are a few more VDS providers that you can consider:

1. Vultr: Vultr offers high-performance cloud servers with SSD storage and the ability to add a GPU. They have a wide range of server locations worldwide and provide flexible pricing options.

2. Linode: Linode offers virtual private servers with GPU support. They have a user-friendly interface, affordable plans, and data centers in various locations. However, it's worth noting that GPU availability may vary by region.

3. IBM Cloud: IBM Cloud provides GPU-enabled virtual servers for AI, machine learning, and data processing tasks. They offer competitive pricing and have a free tier available for select services.

4. Oracle Cloud Infrastructure: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure offers GPU instances for demanding workloads such as AI, analytics, and graphics rendering. They provide flexible pricing options and a free tier with $300 credit for new users.

These providers should offer options for connecting video cards to their virtual servers, and some may also offer free trial periods or credits for new customers. Remember to check their specific offerings and features to find the best fit for your needs.

Virtual Private Servers (VDS) providers often offer a range of video card options, from integrated graphics to high-end NVIDIA or AMD cards. When selecting a provider, consider your specific needs and budget. Here are some options to consider:

Vultr offers a free trial period, with a range of video card options, including integrated Intel graphics and NVIDIA GeForce cards. Their entry-level plan starts at $5/month.

Linode provides a 7-day free trial, with a focus on high-performance hardware. They offer a range of video card options, including NVIDIA and AMD cards, starting at $5/month.

OVH offers a 30-day money-back guarantee, with a range of video card options, including integrated Intel graphics and NVIDIA GeForce cards. Their entry-level plan starts at $3.49/month.

Kimsufi offers a 30-day free trial, with a focus on high-performance hardware. They offer a range of video card options, including NVIDIA and AMD cards, starting at $5/month.

However, be aware that some providers may have limitations on video card usage, such as restricted video output or limited frame rates. Be sure to review the provider's dоcumentation and terms before signing up.
