Title: Best Months For Domainers
Post by: Kovtalo on Jul 02, 2022, 02:45 AM
Greetings everyone, I've noticed a decline in the activity of my parked domain names since the beginning of June. I'm contemplating whether I should take more measures such as increasing views, altering prices, sending out offers, or boosting sales.

This decline usually occurs from January to May and September to December. However, you might have better knowledge about this than me ;) Therefore, I'm conducting this poll to investigate further. Let's work together to find a solution.

It's advisable not to have high expectations and instead accept things as they are presented to you. If you have expectations, there's a risk of being disappointed if they're not met.
This is just my opinion.

Investing in domain names may seem like a straightforward concept, but it involves significant changes once you delve into it. The basic idea is to purchase domain names and then sell them at a profit. Domain investors look for specific domains that meet their investment criteria, buy them, and then offer them for sale to other investors or individuals looking for domain names to use for their website. Investing in domain names is not a one-time event, just like investing in real estate; it is essential to update your inventory continually.

Different domain investors have varying opinions on the sale of domain names. Some focus on selling a few domains at high prices, while others prioritize sales volume and reinvest profits into acquiring more domains. Every domain investor agrees that the feeling of dominance is exhilarating when selling a domain name at a significant profit.

In my experienc, many factors can influence these changes, such as seasonal trends, market demand, and even shifts in consumer behavoir.

First off, increasing views might be a good move. You could consider using social media or paid ads to promote these domain names to a broader audience. Getting the word out is crucial to attract potential buyers, especially if you have valuable keywords.

Also, adjusting prices typically has a big impact. Make sure you're researching the industry standards for the domains you own. Sometimes, a little price tweak can spark interest, making it more appealing to buyers who are looking for a bargain.

As for sending out offers, this is really a smart move! A personalized outreach to potential buyers might result in higher sales rates. Let's say you have a domain related to a niche market; contacting businesses in that sector can generate strong leads.

Boosting sales through implementing a more aggressive marketing strategy on your website for those parked domains can be rather effective too. Email marketing can also play a role here, regularly updating potential clients about new offerings or seasonal discounts.

Analyse your current site traffic and look for patterns. Are there specific times or types of content that attract more visitors? Using this data can help you tailor your strategy moving forward.
I would suggest testing a combination of these strategies to see what works best for your parked domains. And don't forget, while declines can be discouraging, they also present an opportunity to reevaluate your approach and potentially discover new avenues for growth.
