Title: Uniregistry Domain name Parking (from the creators of DNS - Domain Name Sales)
Post by: ilhm on Jul 26, 2022, 12:25 PM
I use the Uniregister parking lot to keep my domains and I think it's a great service. They offer various search options for buyers including searching by name, email or phone through Google, Facebook and LinkedIn.

Additionally, they use IP address as a standard for all parking lots. When adding domains, you can also estimate their worth through Estibot and view request trends on a chart. Overall, in my opinion, Uniregister is the top choice for domaining services and is created by domainers for domainers.

The registrar is making bold moves and even sends letters proposing to transfer all domains to them. They seem to be the new competition for the old-timers.
Within 9 months of joining them, a total of 5 domains were sold for $14,196 with a commission of $11,000 and domain costs subtracted, leaving a net total of $10,300.

Uniregistry has teamed up with DomainNameSales, another resource by F.Schilling for buying and selling domains. On Uniregistry Market, you can list your domain for sale and choose between using their Escrow service as a guarantor for the transaction with the buyer, or utilizing the services of brokers who will find a buyer for you. All domain names go through manual approval and it's recommended to add large portfolios (2K+) or premium domains that do not violate existing TM guidelines to avoid rejection and being blacklisted.

The commission for their guarantor services are at 3% of the amount not exceeding $5,000 and an additional 0.3% charged on the amount exceeding $5,000. For premium payment fees, they charge 3.88% of the sale price when using a credit card or PayPal with a default limit of $5,000. The commission for using the "buy now" function is 10% which includes the premium payment fee.

If you choose to utilize their brokerage services, the commission rises to 15% with a minimum charge of $175. If there are multiple parties involved in the transaction, the broker's commission will be 20% with at least $175 charged.
