Title: .xyz Domains Not Available for Backorder
Post by: Ankarra on Nov 19, 2024, 12:47 AM
Upon conducting an in-depth analysis, I've observed a peculiar trend wherein all single-word English domains that I've attempted to backorder with the .xyz top-level domain (TLD) are being automatically allocated to the .xyz registry, sparking suspicions of potential foul play and raising concerns about the transparency of the domain registration process.
This phenomenon warrants further investigation, as it appears to be an unusual deviation from standard domain backordering protocols, and may be indicative of a larger issue with the registry's domain allocation policies.

The blatant seizure of single-word.xyz domains by the registry upon backordering reeks of a blatant land grab. I'm appalled by this audacious move, which appears to be a clear attempt to monopolize desirable domains. The registry's actions are a slap in the face to registrants who follow the rules and expect a fair shot at acquiring their desired domains. This egregious behavior must be called out, and the registry should be held accountable for their actions.
