CPanel is widely supported by software vendors and offers a range of applications like SpamAssassin, Webalizer, and bundled software through Fantastico. The platform's spam filtering function blocks mass advertising emails, and administrators can create black and white email lists to allow or prohibit specific addresses.

CPanel's user-friendly interface allows beginners to easily access all panel functions from the main page. The multi-language support of Rvskin software is another plus, with about 20 languages available. CPanel also supports MySQL databases, allowing users to create/delete databases, add users, assign privileges, and import/export databases.

An integrated java application for ssh access to the server is also available. Security features include hotlink protection and the ability to block certain IP address ranges. However, CPanel has high system requirements and is infrequently updated. Also, the panel and webmail work on non-standard ports, so closing them means losing access to the panel and email interface.

CPanel and ISPmanager are popular control panels for managing virtual hosting and servers. CPanel may seem more complex and expensive when purchased separately, but it is reliable, frequently updated, and offers robust features. ISPmanager is cheaper, fully-Russian speaking, but lacks good dоcumentation. However, forums offer helpful information for users to find answers.

When selecting a control panel for hosting or server management, it's crucial to consider panel updates and configuration compatibility to avoid potential issues. While cPanel has a strong reputation for reliability, and rare errors, it's still recommended to create regular backups of data. Similarly, ISPmanager is generally stable, but frequent updates may create obstacles.

cPanel is a widely utilized control panel known for its intuitive interface and extensive feature set. It provides a comprehensive solution for website management, offering tools for file management, domain configuration, email setup, and server resource monitoring. cPanel's popularity is further reinforced by its large ecosystem of third-party plugins and integrations, expanding its functionality and adaptability to different hosting environments.

On the other hand, ISP manager is valued for its flexibility and advanced customization options. It offers a more granular approach to server management, enabling administrators to finely tune resource allocation, define custom user roles, and implement tailored security measures. ISP manager's emphasis on customization makes it an attractive choice for hosting specialists seeking to optimize server resources and accommodate specific hosting requirements.

In terms of performance, cPanel is lauded for its efficient resource allocation and streamlined processes, making it a robust choice for high-traffic websites and complex hosting setups. Its user-friendly interface and extensive dоcumentation also make it particularly appealing for hosting providers catering to a diverse range of clients with varying technical abilities.

Conversely, ISP manager's focus on customization and resource management provides a compelling option for hosting specialists aiming to tailor hosting environments to specific use cases. Its ability to finely control server resources, databases, and user permissions can be particularly advantageous for hosting providers seeking to optimize server performance and accommodate unique hosting requirements.

In making the decision between ISP manager and cPanel, hosting specialists should carefully assess the specific needs of their client base, the technical proficiency of their support team, and the scalability requirements of their hosting infrastructure. Factors such as ease of use, security measures, support for different technologies, and potential for future expansion should be thoroughly evaluated to make an informed decision that aligns with the overall hosting strategy and business objectives.

As for the interface, ispmanager has a much more modern and user-friendly interface than cPanel. In cPanel it is terribly confusing and very difficult to understand. In ispmanager, the interface looks as modern and logically structured as possible.
I definitely give my vote to ispmanager.
