I'm looking for an engine to quickly launch a website with good attendance. I want to avoid using WordPress as it's not a platform I'm familiar with and don't have the patience to learn. I've tried to create websites myself, but don't have the time to build one from scratch now. Therefore, I'm hoping to find an engine that has a pre-built template related to minecraft for phones.

In the past, I used fluxbb forum, but it's outdated and attracts bots. I've had to take down the forum for several reasons and am now in urgent need of a CMS to implement news. After searching through Github, the majority of CMS options require laravel/symfony or the use of composer/git.

I'm looking for a CMS that uses mysql+php and can be downloaded, uploaded, installed, and configured without requiring the use of composer/git. If anyone knows of a good CMS (not similar to DLE / WP / Joomla), please let me know. All comments and suggestions are appreciated.

In terms of extensibility and flexibility, I would recommend WordPress over Joomla 3rd version (and soon the 4th). However, I understand the desire to use a CMS that is not worn out like DLE/WP/Joomla. But be cautious about installing untested and unsupported software.

Don't be afraid of using composer, Laravel, and layout integration. If you need advanced user profile work, I recommend not using Modx. For the most popular CMS options, WordPress would be the best fit for your needs.

Gamecms is a solution that can address all your issues if the popular CMS options don't meet your requirements. As a web developer, it shouldn't be difficult to create a CMS tailored to your needs. Other CMS options like MODX, NetCat, and Ucoz can also be customized to suit your specific needs. However, it's important to have the requisite skills to create a CMS that works effectively for your purposes.

Tips and recommendations for selecting the right CMS for your website:
CMS or Content Management System are ready-made frameworks for hosting websites, online stores, corporate sites and blogs. If additional integrations with external sites or custom code embedding is not required, even beginners can set up such systems easily.

There are two types of CMS: multi-disciplinary and profile. Multi-disciplinary CMS is designed to create any type of website and supports a wide selection of plugins, templates, tariff options and allows text editing, design and more. Profile sites are specialized platforms for commercial e-commerce or blogging and have all necessary settings in the administrator's office for creating a website. The service offers several integrations and does not require additional intervention from programmers.

CMS licenses come in two forms: Open and Closed. Open sources such as Joomla!, OpenCart, and Drupal allow access to change the code while closed systems are limited in editing rights and often paid.

OpenCart is a free engine created specifically for online stores and comes equipped with features such as issues in catalog, shopping cart, payment pages, security protocols, integration with delivery and payment services, and a range of extensions to increase functionality. Despite its benefits, some of the OpenCart functions will require extra investments like paid extensions.

Drupal is another free CMS with open source and a high degree of flexibility in development. It works on any hosting platform, protects against fraudsters and viruses, provides fast page loading, and is easily customizable. However, Drupal is quite complex and may need experienced developers for setting up and includes a large number of options. Extensive preparation is essential before launching the site, as it takes time to familiarize oneself with all the options.

Given your interest in a template related to Minecraft for phones, I would recommend exploring the Joomla platform. Joomla has a wide range of templates available for various themes, including gaming and mobile app-related designs. You can easily find and customize a template that aligns with your vision for the website.

Joomla also excels in providing a user-friendly interface for content management. With its intuitive article management system and categorization options, you'll be able to efficiently organize and publish news content without the need for extensive technical knowledge. Additionally, Joomla's extensions and plugins ecosystem offers further flexibility in implementing additional features for your website.

In terms of technology requirements, Joomla is fully compatible with MySQL and PHP, enabling straightforward installation and configuration without the necessity of utilizing tools like composer or git. This means you can set up your website with relative ease, allowing you to focus more on the content and design aspects.

Considering the challenges with the outdated fluxbb forum, it's evident that security and anti-bot measures are significant concerns for you. Joomla, being a robust and modern CMS, comes with built-in security features and also provides the ability to integrate additional security extensions to safeguard your website from unwanted bot activity.

Joomla is a powerful CMS that matches your specific requirements. It offers a variety of templates, a user-friendly content management system, compatibility with MySQL and PHP, and the assurance of modern security features. I believe Joomla would be an excellent choice for quickly launching a website with good attendance, without the need to delve into the complexities of WordPress.

For a no-fuss, vanilla PHP+MySQL CMS with decent templating, check out Anchor CMS. It's lightweight, zero composer/git hassle, and you can slap in Minecraft-themed skins easily. Another solid pick is GetSimple CMS, which is flat-file but PHP-based, super fast, and simple to tweak without bloat.

If you want something a bit more modern but still drag-and-drop friendly, Grav CMS is slick, though it leans on flat files, not MySQL, so might not fit your exact stack.
