The website hosted in Russia has been blocked by the hoster due to a request from roskomnadzor. Unfortunately, there seems to be no chance of it being unbanned anytime soon. The website is currently being hosted by Beget.
If redirecting to a new domain is attempted, it will not work because the entirety of the website has been banned at the hoster level. This causes concern as the site may lose its position in search results.
What steps can be taken to resolve this issue quickly and effectively? Perhaps by exploring alternative hosting options or seeking legal assistance?

May I know who the current registrar of the website is? In case it is possible, redirect the registrar. Otherwise, you could consider hanging the domain on CloudFlare and configuring a 301 redirect to your desired domain. This would ensure seamless user experience and prevent loss of search engine ranking. However, it is important to take into account any potential legal implications or consequences before proceeding with any action.

Can you elaborate? And what is the price of the issue?
Actually, I found no special rules.
Now I'm transferring a domain and used these rules:
http://www.mydomain1.com/*: http://www.mydomain2.com/$1

But so far it has not worked.

With such a ban do not redirect. And for users to find, create an identical domain with the addition of the numbers domain1.com, then users will be able to find the new address in the output. To be sure, you can somewhere else write that the new domain of the site so-and-so.

At the registrar to change the DNS hosting on CloudFlare, as well as linking the domain to CloudFlare. By the way, if you banned the hoster, you can just change hosting.

CloudFlare - it will be enough of a free plan.

The methods to bypass the "sovereign internet" block are still uncertain as there is little clarity about its deployment and functionality. It can be argued that blocking and bypassing measures are a never-ending race with no conclusive end in sight, similar to the rivalry of armor and projectiles. A truly challenging blocking method would adversely affect other internet services including the government.

As evident from the case of the "great Chinese firewall," the effectiveness of these methods is relative, and it is not entirely difficult to bypass them.
However, tools have been curated and posted on the Bypass Censorship website by the US Broadcasting Board of Governors. The website offers six free apps that include Tor, Psiphon, Orbot, Orfox, FreeBrowser, and Lantern. These apps use various technologies like VPN, proxy servers, and distributed networks, among others, to establish anonymous and unrestricted network connections.

To resolve the issue quickly and effectively, you can consider taking the following steps:

1. Explore alternative hosting options: Look for hosting providers outside of Russia that are less likely to comply with Roskomnadzor requests. Research reputable hosting providers in other countries that prioritize freedom of speech and have a history of resisting censorship.

2. Transfer the website to a new hosting provider: Contact the new hosting provider and discuss the situation. They may be able to help with the migration process and provide guidance on setting up the website on their platform. Ensure that the new hosting provider has robust measures in place to protect against censorship and can guarantee uptime and accessibility.

3. Consider legal assistance: If the restriction on your website violates any local or international laws or regulations, you may want to consult legal experts specializing in internet law. They can advise you on the legal options available and help navigate the complexities of the situation. Keep in mind that legal proceedings can be time-consuming and costly, so weigh the pros and cons before pursuing this path.

4. Communicate with your audience: While you work towards resolving the hosting issue, proactively communicate with your audience about the situation. Inform them of the temporary disruption and provide updates on your progress in finding a solution. This will help maintain their trust and keep them informed about the status of your website.

5. Prepare for search result impact: If the website's domain needs to be changed, it could affect its position in search engine results. To mitigate this, ensure that the new domain is properly set up with appropriate redirects from the old domain. Continuously monitor search engine rankings and consider implementing SEO strategies to regain visibility in search results as quickly as possible.

6. Utilize a Virtual Private Network (VPN): A VPN can help bypass restrictions and access blocked websites by routing your internet traffic through servers located in different countries. By using a VPN, you may be able to access your website from outside of Russia and make necessary changes or updates.

7. Explore content delivery networks (CDNs): CDNs can distribute your website's content across multiple servers worldwide. This can help improve website performance and availability, as well as bypass certain censorship restrictions. Look for a CDN provider that offers strong security measures and has server locations in countries where your website is accessible.

8. Seek support from online communities and organizations: Connect with online communities, advocacy groups, or organizations that specialize in digital rights, freedom of speech, or fighting internet censorship. They may be able to provide guidance, resources, or even advocate on your behalf to help resolve the situation.

9. Monitor the situation and adapt as needed: Stay vigilant and keep an eye on any developments related to the hosting restriction. Political circumstances and regulations can change, which may impact the feasibility of unbanning your website or finding alternative hosting solutions. Stay flexible and adapt your approach accordingly to ensure you are taking the most appropriate actions.
