Namebio reported the sale of 357 fresh gtld domains, while in the previous month this number reached 411. In total, sales amounted to $298,900 and $522,600.

Interestingly, the average sale price decreased significantly from $1,234 to $874 within one month. This trend may be related to various reasons, including market saturation or lower demand for some of the newly introduced gTLDs. Nonetheless, it is important to monitor such developments to understand the dynamics of the domain name industry.

It is challenging to gather reliable information about sales of domains by registrars, as opposed to sales on trading platforms. Nevertheless, these sales may include significant deals.

Recently, Tarin Naidu, the director of Rightside, disclosed that one domain name in .GAMES sold for $179,000, which is currently the most substantial sale among New gTLDs. However, there may be larger sales reported in the past, but their veracity is questionable.

For instance, Radix Registry announced that it sold magazin.store to Meredith Publishing for $260,000, but it was later revealed that the cost was reduced due to the publisher's inactivity, and the sale did not take place for the claimed amount.

Similarly, GMO Registry director Hiro Tsukahara claimed that sеx.shop and beauty.shop domain names were sold for nearly half a million dollars each. However, the owner of the domain names remained GMO Registry, suggesting that the potential buyer may have not completed the transaction. It is crucial to scrutinize such claims to gain a better understanding of the domain market trends.
