I'm running a small community forum that has gradually outgrown shared hosting. The database is getting larger, users are posting more frequently, and search queries are becoming noticeably slower.

I'm looking at a VPS with 4 vCPU, 8 GB RAM, and 120 GB NVMe storage. My target budget is around $25–35 per month.

HostPro.com is one of the options I'm considering. For a forum with a growing database and moderate concurrent traffic, would you recommend starting with 8 GB RAM, or is database performance more likely to be the bottleneck?
