Domain name and Hosting

The situation is quite straightforward. There's a hosting provider whom I won't mention, where one can purchase hosting and register a domain. However, when the hosting service is no longer needed, the site can be moved elsewhere. In such cases, the provider sends warnings that the service will be removed. As a result, the site stops functioning. One can always re-register the domain, but it is important to note that one needs to fill the form with their data.

Now, the problem arises when someone registers a domain with someone else's data. It could be done through this hosting provider's website. Essentially, you convince the person that everything is done on their data, while in reality, you're the one who owns the domain. Later, when the site gains momentum, it can be transferred to another hosting provider. What's interesting is that the hosting provider who previously hosted the site ends up deleting everything, which makes it easier for you to take possession of the domain by registering with any email. However, this could lead to legal troubles down the road.

It appears that all the data of the original domain owner is deleted. Does this mean that someone can hijack the site or take it hostage?

Registering a domain using someone else's personal information without their knowledge or consent is unethical and can have legal consequences. Additionally, intentionally misleading someone into believing they are the owner of a domain when they are not can also be considered fraudulent behavior.

It is always important to act in an ethical and lawful manner when conducting business transactions, including registering domains and transferring hosting services. It is recommended to consult with legal professionals before engaging in any activities that may raise concerns about legality or ethicality.

Remember, trust and honesty are vital in maintaining healthy and reputable business relationships.
